How long do you usually keep your frozen cut bait? I have quite a few frozen bluegills from my last catfishing trip 2 months ago, and I wondering if they’ll still be effective on catching catfish now. Should I still keep them or just dispose of them?

You’ve done your research, great job, awesome tips! You’ve found yourself a great spot, sand bars most often have a hole just downstream. These holes will hold food, cover and relief from the current! Releasing large catfish is always a good tip and practice! Great channel!

I’m primarily a bass fisherman in the KC area but I’m thinking about trying to catch blues on the MO river. I found some spots but I don’t really know how "safe" they are. Do you ever really feel unsafe whenever you’re fishing on the MO?

  14. Jack 5657 on December 21, 2020 at 9:26 pm

Illegal advice! In Missouri, you are only allowed three (3) fishing poles, per person!
The 33 hook limit is for trotlines or other methods.

I was always under the impression that beads were used to keep the swivel eye from biting into the soft lead sinker and preventing it from sliding freely. Any truth to this??

Nice video. I re-watch some from time to time. I will be in your neck of the woods in about a week and a half. Going to visit my daughter. She near the Bass Pro and I was going to fish that pod behind Bass Pro. I will check for other fishing spots around there. Are there any spots around there that you like? Take care.

We can only have 2 poles here in Kansas. If you pay an extra $8 you can have a 3rd one, but its already $27.50 for a standard fishing license as it is. Cut or live is the only way to go in a river and big lakes. I only use dough baits in the smaller lakes and ponds. Thanks for the video.
