I stay in Mississippi about 15 minutes from Oxford, Mississippi… I’ve thought about moving to Starkville, Ms recently… 🤔 my sister stay 15 minutes from Olive Branch, Ms and it is nice 👌🏽… Hernado, Ms and Pope, Ms is nice as well 😊 there’s a lake in Pope, Ms you’ll fall in love with trust me I know ❤️😊

Umm, that Long Beach high school isn’t mississippi Long Beach. We are the bearcats and our school doesn’t look like that. That is actually New York’s Long Beach high school, lol.
Born and raised in Rankin county, now live in Oxford and love it. Remove Jackson from the list for sure! Might add New Albany or Hernando instead.

As someone who lives in MS, I would recommend taking Jackson off this list. The crime rate is terrible. I would not set foot in West or South Jackson unless you are wanting to get shot. You can hardly drive around because of all the potholes.

The whole Mississippi is 🚮 throw the whole state away. I’ve lived in several towns and cities thinking it’ll be a difference. It’s a Retirement Community. Nothing for the youth nor the people of age. There are no jobs and poverty is at its highest. So this is complete false information. Oan i don’t even want to speak about the racism and Police Brutality, wheww.

Jackson??? Seriously??? Whoever did this list is absolutely CRAZY!!!! The crime rate is insanely high, the poverty rate is almost as bad as the crime rate. The only good thing about Jackson is the higher education opportunities (UMMC, Belhaven, Jackson State, and the 1 that I always have trouble remembering). When my daughter was going to Belhaven, I was worried sick about something happening to her.
