Have really enjoyed watching yere trip around Cork City ,Kinsale and West Cork looks like you both really enjoyed our Wild Atlantic Way ,however part of that Wildness is now in danger and it is relevant to this episode ,in the sense of ye foraging for seaweed and stating just take enough .Our native Kelp forest is in danger of being harvested on an Industrial scale level by a company called BioAtlantis ,please support the people of Bantry Bay to protect our Kelp ..Thank you .xxx

  47. Tony Glenholmes on December 10, 2019 at 9:56 pm

Science lesson: the umami taste is actually glutamate (as in MSG).

    It’s an amino acide.

Oh and there’s not five tastes, there’s hundreds. Peppermint, basil etc…none of these are the ‘five tastes’

  48. krsn5 on December 10, 2019 at 9:56 pm

great video as always vaga bros! Ireland is gorgeous! btw Indian recognize 6 tastes – salt, spicy, sweet, sour, bitter and astringent (not what you put on face) – so am assuming umaami is astringent (like raw baby mango or some fruits)

  49. Brendan Connolly and Ireland wildlife on December 10, 2019 at 9:57 pm
