Did anybody notice that when they were looking at the last fish the I fish pro was up in the background
This old man that I met out on the ice a long time ago told me; old timers would put the maggots in their mouths to keep them from freezing when it’s really cold.
Are you guys on halfmoon lake?
You should check out Lake Gogebic in the UP. 2lb to 3lb Perch.
Unbelievable!!
James and the Giant Perch
In Australia we call them Redfin
Is the i-fish pro legal in MN?
you guys should come to the UK the record perch is over 6 pounds and pike record is over 46 pounds
Jeebus those are unreal! Great episode as usual!
Is the spot on the spot near lacrosse, WI?
Full of eggs
you think you can send me the location of this fishing spot?
can you make a burbot video one of these episodes coming up
What pool is that
I caught some real big ones this spring.. Tons of 12 to 15in perch and pulled 3 out this year 16in. With the biggest being 16.25in I should have had it mounted but I released it. Early ice in 18 was awesome on the Mississippi but it really seemed to slow down after Christmas and fish were super finicky the rest of the season. It was tough to put a solid day together with a ton of fish.
Awesome!
I fish pool 9 and 10 and we catch those giant’s too. Great to see the perch doing so well in the Mississippi. I haven’t been out on the river this winter but Ill be after em soon as ice is out in some of my spots.
Yeah I do know where this is actually. Watch where you pan the camera! Your in my hole.
I love it. I just caught me a 15+ in perch, now let me stick my fingers in its gills before I release it.
Io ne ho pescati di piรน’ grossi.Quello mi sembra un alborella.Tanta attrezzatura,,,va’ be’.Conteni voi.E poi dono in frega ,pieni di uova.
I knew I should have made my way over there to Film for my channel!!! I guess Ill have to settle for heading north and hoping to land on some Giant Gills!
The best tasting fish on the planet, and you throw them back??!!
What’s with these people who feel they need to KISS FISH??? Jimmy Houston started a stupid thing, lol.
Absolute slabs.
We catch big fish
Very health fish
I have cleaned some decent perch, and they were full of YOY bluegills. That’s why those rippin raps work so well.
Found unbelievable waters on the mighty miss this year with my 2 daughters . By far heaven is the only word to describe. Just the rite episode to get this heart pumping. Love it guys
Thanks for the video James them were some big perch. Were you fishing pool 9 ?
My question is u can or not keep them there super awesome eating or is it the fact it’s the Mississippi river. , contamination
The biggest I cought 15 inches in Canada.
Man oh Man those perch are true giants. loved it
A word of warning using hovercrafts on ice. A veteran ice fisherman died on the Mississippi River backwaters near Savanna, Illinois using a hovercraft when he struck a stump while cruising over the ice. The stump caused the hovercraft to flip killing the fisherman instantly. Stumps are almost impossible to see when the ice is snow covered so use extreme caution at all times!
Awesome video
Why don’t you just drill a hole just for your Marcum? Just watching the line getting tangled up in the transducer drive me crazy! ๐๐
I was wondering how long it would take before our perch fishery was discovered lol
So awesome! Dave a guide there James? That would be a great day on the water with the hovercraft and all! So cool!
This people will only go fishing where they know It is guaranteed fish
I would love to see you do an episode of perch fishing on American Lake and Tacoma Lakewood Washington or if not an episode of perch fishing do an episode of Kokanee fishing get on that Kokanee bite Kokanee is a badass fish to catch they don’t get very big but they’re landlocked salmon and they’re very good to eat so if you do an episode there and you’re doing Kokanee and least cooked Kokanee catch him to keep smoking grillem frying them do all three but if you fry them don’t deep-fry them pan-fry am the best way to cook them
Nice bunny boooots๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป
I know a pond were almost ever perch is between 4-6 lbs 15-22 inch some even bigger it’s an awsome pond/ small lake and there is just thousands in it amost every cast on chubs you catch 1 lol it was stocked 30 years ago then never fished.
Advertising, guess tv ainโt as bad ,as I thought. You came in first
Unbelievable those perch were monsters Great video great job.Love your channel
Watching him throw these perch back makes me angry I would kill to catch perch like those
Some Giants… looks like Cascade Style fish!
Don’t forget about the giant pike too!! I just wrapped up this past weekend chasing flags for big Mississippi pike! what a blast.
Perchissippi slobs!! Amazing!
Unfished spot, why not keep some jumbos and fillet for friends and family that actually eat fish. I bet these guys eat Mickey’s on the way home. Unreal
All the boat and city runoff pollution and what ever else runs off the farm fields is what makes those fish so big!
