I really enjoyed your tutorial! Kubb is a wonderful family game that is a blast! Did you know that there are regional, national, and world tournaments?! There is a thriving Kubb community throughout the US and Europe! However, if you want to play in these tournaments, your rule list is a little off. Home rules are absolutely fun and can make the experience right for you, but you may run into a shock if you ever want to compete in a tournament. I have a link to the official US Kubb rules below! You get two throws at f the Kubb goes out of bounds before the other team places it, not one. Also to expedite the game, you can take the kubbs out of play after the second time they are knocked down . In other words when they are knocked down after becoming field kubbs.

The name Kubb however is derived from swedish (same in Norwegian) Kubbe.. meaning short log, usually refering to cut firewood..
You forgot the Swedish rule of having to knocking over the king by throwing from an inverted stance through/in between the legs.
Sorry, but this is not the correct way to play.

I played my first game of Kubb this past July in Laona, Wisconsin. I really enjoyed it a lot, and my team won. I must have come off as a "ringer" since most of the scoring came from me.
