Guys, thanks to seeing your video a few months ago, we are HERE today at the Visitor Center – wet and nasty, yes, but great folks in the Visitor Center and a free electric hook up for the night! Wife is over there INSTA-POTTING, and the rain has stopped. With an umbrella, we might even take that mile walk into town! Thanks again for the video. My favorite one that you’ve put together.

I grew up there, actually across the river on the Louisiana side, in Vidalia, LA. I moved away almost 50 yrs. ago. It was fun watching your travel video and hearing your point of view. Now that I know there is free overnight camping with electricity and water, I plan to take our RV there for brief return visits. Thanks for sharing this info.

I can’t be the only one looking forward to some more Airstream reno videos. Once you know your color scheme for inside the Airstream, I would love to know too. I’d love to show my appreciation for you guys and send a gift. But, I want to make sure it’s valuable to you and works with your new RV. Oh and thanks for showing us Hot Springs! We’ve never gone to Arkansas, but we will be for sure!

  21. Joe the Computerguy on December 21, 2020 at 9:35 pm

After I left you guys I was on the northern end of the Natchez Trace near Nashville. Pretty nice road and a number of historic sites up that way. The Trace has a couple of CGs too (although I was at a TT one).
That vid had a great sunset. Love it.
With the speed tests on your website with TMobile were the numbers transposed? Down is usually faster then up.

HI Kyle and Olivia. .I’ll bet you are glad to be out of Texas, it has been hotter in Wellington than in Death Valley.

A MUST try is the Old Country Store in Lorman MS. Best fried chicken in the world! The owner also sings some blues while you’re there. Fantastic place and can’t recommend it enough!

  26. Michael Denoux on December 21, 2020 at 9:43 pm

Love visiting Natchez and the area . Lots of history and the locals are very nice. We stay at the Natchez State Park about 10 miles from town.

  27. Rock Westfahl on December 21, 2020 at 9:44 pm

Yeah we really liked Natchez. We also stayed over in Vidalia, LA., Just across the river, there is a very nice RV Park called The Riverview. It has said view plus good graveled sites and full hookups we paid $32,with our GS card discount.also a nice hotel there and a really good local restaurant close by.

  32. Jim Brown on December 21, 2020 at 9:51 pm

Kyle & Olivia, just wanted to let you know this is my FAVORITE video you two have done. Just really cool A) to know this place is FREE, with HOOKUP! and B) to discover this gem of a historic community by the river you turned us onto. PLUS, I’m good for about a mile walk each way into Natchez! Gonna be a great little date night for me and my wife when we come through there the week after Christmas … Lord and FHU campsite willing!

  33. The Boetker Channel on December 21, 2020 at 9:51 pm

Just curious how many miles you guys have on that Ranger? It definitely gets a workout lol. Great video!

  34. Wally Jordan on December 21, 2020 at 9:52 pm

Loved the shot from your side view mirror. It showed a portion of the camper with "Objects are closer than they appear"…. what a great motivator for all of us dreamers!! 🙂

  35. Jorge Ramos on December 21, 2020 at 9:52 pm

Little bit about Natchez. My wife’s family is from there. She and her family participated in Angles on the Bluff a reenactment of the person’s history that is buried there and in our case and I think many others presented by their ancestors. Not sure when the time is but you can check out this website. https://www.natcheztracetravel.com/festivals-events/event/16-angels-on-the-bluff-at-the-natchez-cemetery.html#31.575505/-91.394266/14 Finally I would also have to confirm with my mother-in-law the historian but I think there was a house here family owned called the Spanish House. Don’t know it is still standing but her family history is there. Here …..Grandfather was a Sheriff in Natchez.

I’ve camped and biked in every state except Mississippi so I was planning on going there this summer. Thanks for the information.

I’m a 68 yr old woman—and did you know that your videos- you two are delaying if not preventing DEMENTIA! AS you age it is important to challenge your brain with NEW LEARNING opportunities in order for "neuron-genesis" to take place in the brain. ( the production of new cells and pathways!) I wrote to you on an 3, 4 month ago video, so I doubt if you saw it. So I’ve been following your renovation of the Argosy and I am fascinated- and doing extra research on the processes that you use. This is TOTALLY a new topic for me. Thanks.

  41. Rob Baker on December 21, 2020 at 10:07 pm

    You guys need some bikes!

  42. Colleen F on December 21, 2020 at 10:07 pm

If you go about 20 mins from there the state park is beautiful and free!
