Catman……do you think you might have been busted due to the lack of camo? I know it probably doesn’t make much difference for you when you’re up a tree in your saddle, but on the ground it would probably help.

That is a great buck.
Another example of the Catman’s outstanding hunting and self-videography skills, and under very tough conditions, at that. Sure would’ve loved that buck to respond to calling, but kudos for not just letting an arrow fly. I keep on saying that one year I’ll get back down to my native home state and experience the Dixie rut. As evidenced here, I know it won’t be easy, and decisions, decisions in deciding where to go. Sure glad y’all experienced some Mississippi hospitality with a safe place to camp.

This is great…. Our season ended Sunday, it was 11 degrees when we went out and increased to 13 at sunset. I did not see any but my Son saw a few.

Crazy how quiet the woods get down here isn’t it. The deer are nervous I think partially because of it too. Just a different animal compared to Midwest.
